Lord Krishna

I had always wanted to draw a painting on Lord Krishna.. One of the reasons being - Krishna can be viewed as a small kid, a boy and what not!!.. While I was searching for a right photo, this photo somehow impressed me with the flute ( an inseparable one) and a cow.. This was one of a long painting. The steps to it is very simple. It is just like the glass painting I had posted. To make it more appealing, a light background will be the apt for framing!. I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.. Let Lord Krishna shower blessings on all of us!

GLASS PAINTING-LAKSHMI NEERAJA

A GOOD RELIEF FROM STRESS

I started doing glass paintings as a leisure time activity. But its really interesting that I started getting fully involved in to it. It is one way of relaxing your mind & relaxing your brain cells. Nowadays most of the people have mental tension due to their jobs, day to day problems etc..but there is a way to calm & make your mind de-stressed. Just spend half an hour time in doing glass painting you get relaxed and feel happy also.

MAKING THE PAINTING

Just buy a small sized (A4) glass. for Rs. 25 or 30 . Choose a design of your choice for example)bouquet,a dancing girl, peacock ,parrots etc.....Take a photocopy of the design. You can also get it from the net. Place the design beneath the glass. Before starting, buy a glass painting kit from brands such as Camlin or Faber Castell). Take the outliner (black) to trace the design . Draw the design on the glass using the glass liner. After you have finished drawing, take the solvent based colours and apply it to your choice and imagination. Now, your painting is ready. While framing you can give an aluminium or gold foil as a background.

TRY THIS & EXPERIENCE YOUR SIMPLE PLEASURE.

More to come..
